THE NEW BOY.
It has taken 4 games and Chelsea fans are already singing his name. Diego Costa has become an instant hit at the Bridge netting 7 goals in 4 games, scoring his first hatrick for the club against Swansea on the weekend.
Chelsea fans can finally be relieved that their striker ghost can finally be put to rest. With many Chelsea fans doubting him, me being one of them he has quickly put his critics to the sword. There was speculation that his last season in Spain was a one hit wonder and with a woeful world cup, he looked like he would be another striker casualty at Chelsea.
In my opinion he is the complete striker. He commands in the box and picks up lose balls and punishes them with ease, what is great to watch is that he seems to always be one step further than the opposition. He also has no problem bullying defenders and getting into the face of the opposition. We can only wait and see what he will be like for the big games as Chelsea have a few tough fixtures coming, Schalke and Manchester City. As long as he stays fit I am sure we are looking at 30+ goals from him this season and if not Chelsea have another striker that has proven himself in the league already and it did not take Remy long to get his first goal for the club.
It is also nice to see that we are the only team that has not dropped any points. The title is definitely in our favor. A win against City this weekend will definitely make a massive statement, it is about time Chelsea won the league. Our breed of players this season look much stronger than last season. This horse is ready to race.
